Oldies but goldies

Old photos! It took a lot to prepare this post.

I mean, it was so embarassing to log in your old accounts to various photo-gallery-sites and dig out the photos which I had already hidden.

All the attempts to be so artistic -so funny!

And due to my artsy self most of the photos are sepia-toned or black&white. But hey, it will just improve the feeling that we're back in time!

So here comes the first set of photos:

Back in year 2009. I had short, natural brown hair and intentions to be a vintage girl. Basically no make up.

Style and hair have changed, but I love that black dress still!

2008! This is from an abandoned house! Not my room, haha!
And I love that I dared to be me.

Not that I would like to look same as did in these photos, but I would like to have pieces of my old personality back!

I dared to dress up as artistic and creative as I was craving to be. I didn't care about yours or boys opinion!

Now my mind is comtaminated with lookbook and blogs! The only way is to wear size 32 party dress in every ocassion.

Enough of that bitter talk!

Profile pics from 2008 to 2010 I think.
All taken in 2011.

Face changes and hair grows. I learned how to apply mascara and eyeliner and pluck off eyebrows.

In the inner level I grow up more conscious what a woman should look like.
If I would have wanted to stay as the artsy-fartsy vintage-hippie-whatever girl which I was earlier, it would have been a lot harder to settle in a new school.

I may sound really shallow and narrow-minded, but that's what happened in me.
In my opinion, at some level, it's really selfish not to care what others think about you.

Just look at the first one in the left corner and the middle pic in the second row... a huge difference!

2008 and 2011. I think I look nice in both pictures. The only explaination is that the change has happened enough smoothly.

Thank god I was able to convey my emotions into paper -not into my apperance.

That still sounded very emo.

Birdwing

Pencils, computer and A5 sized paper.

The newest sketch of the character of my drawing that I've been planning.

I don't have a scanner at home, so I had to photograph. I'm sorry!

I'm developing the idea further; He's half a human, half a bird. Probably a misfit.

A close-up (I think the head turned out the best -just what I was expecting.)

A short entry this time. I'm bloody tired, because I woke up at 5am.

Thank God I'm Pretty

Today I decided to do the "Top cosmetics"-post.

I'm not very eager to find out new products, I'm always in a hurry, so I usually don't have any time to try out something new. Failing would be a total disaster -for everyone. I'm always the last one who's ready!

Haha, after that intro babble, this would do better as the "top make-up products when you are in hurry"-post.

I start with the make-up:

This Coastal Scents 12-pcs. eyeshadow palette is from Pretty.fi. I recommend it for online cosmetics shopping!

I been thinking to buy the larger palette with over 80 different shades, but would it be annoying to carry the box around, huh?

So I have sticked with this small one, which has deep and natural dark shades, which go great with each other.
The most vivid look you can achieve with wet brush.

But why there's no shadow for highlights? I don't like that bright turquoise.

WetnWild Mega Liner Liquid eyeliner
How something so cheap could be so good?
This liquid eyeliner lasts, long and with the fine brush you can create very thin or thick line, as you want! Easy to handle.

I also have this liner in violet.

Max Factor Second Skin foundation
Very useful! This foundation is easy to apply (I use a brush for applying) and it leaves no traces.
But blend well!

Leaves your skin natural-looking, even though it conceals the flaws of the skin magically well.

Lip gloss & lipstick in 2 colors
Light pink glitter gloss when I want to look girly, and deep red when I want to be feminine.

Parfums

Christina Aguilera Inspire
I love this so much, so there's only few drops left. Sad!

Sweet, sensitive scent.
I also like Escada's perfumes, although they are usually too sweet, even sugary, for everyday use!

Skin Care

Dove Summer Glow & Garnier Ambre Solaire
My tanning project. Both products are good, but at the first try the mist left horrible streaks!

Then I read that I have to spray it 40cm away from skin. Oh well..

Hair

XZ Shampoo
This won't leave your hair greasy, and the smell is nice too!
I've grown up using this shampoo.

Okay enough advertising...

Try these out!
