Thank God I'm Pretty

Today I decided to do the "Top cosmetics"-post.

I'm not very eager to find out new products, I'm always in a hurry, so I usually don't have any time to try out something new. Failing would be a total disaster -for everyone. I'm always the last one who's ready!

Haha, after that intro babble, this would do better as the "top make-up products when you are in hurry"-post.

I start with the make-up:

This Coastal Scents 12-pcs. eyeshadow palette is from Pretty.fi. I recommend it for online cosmetics shopping!

I been thinking to buy the larger palette with over 80 different shades, but would it be annoying to carry the box around, huh?

So I have sticked with this small one, which has deep and natural dark shades, which go great with each other.
The most vivid look you can achieve with wet brush.

But why there's no shadow for highlights? I don't like that bright turquoise.

WetnWild Mega Liner Liquid eyeliner
How something so cheap could be so good?
This liquid eyeliner lasts, long and with the fine brush you can create very thin or thick line, as you want! Easy to handle.

I also have this liner in violet.

Max Factor Second Skin foundation
Very useful! This foundation is easy to apply (I use a brush for applying) and it leaves no traces.
But blend well!

Leaves your skin natural-looking, even though it conceals the flaws of the skin magically well.

Lip gloss & lipstick in 2 colors
Light pink glitter gloss when I want to look girly, and deep red when I want to be feminine.

Parfums

Christina Aguilera Inspire
I love this so much, so there's only few drops left. Sad!

Sweet, sensitive scent.
I also like Escada's perfumes, although they are usually too sweet, even sugary, for everyday use!

Skin Care

Dove Summer Glow & Garnier Ambre Solaire
My tanning project. Both products are good, but at the first try the mist left horrible streaks!

Then I read that I have to spray it 40cm away from skin. Oh well..

Hair

XZ Shampoo
This won't leave your hair greasy, and the smell is nice too!
I've grown up using this shampoo.

Confessions of a Shopaholic

My summer sale and thrift store finds!

From left to right:

Denim leggings, 5 euros, originally from ONLY. Local second-hand store.

Fringe top, 9 euros (yeaah...), asdffgmmf (wtf is the brand?) -Weekday. Also 2hand.

Glossy snakeskin leggings, Gina Tricot. Can't remember the price.

Lace batwing blouse, Gina Tricot. 19,95 euro. Okay, this wasn't on discount. Didn't matter.

A total outfit!

The blouse reminds me of a tablecloth... Laptop spoiled the right pic.

Dry shampoo is very handy product. I usually rather go to sleep than wash my hair, and my hair gets greasy really fast. Very annoying, if you have a meeting early in the morning!

That's not even the only ocassion when this product would be useful. Summer is.. non-showering time.

Klippoteket's dry shampoo is on sale so the price isn't bad!

Lol, go buy some KitKat! I think it's the best chocolate, unbelievable tasty with coffee! ♥

Midsummer

Hi again! I wasn't able to type this entry out earlier, 'cause my computer's mouse stopped working, and I needed to edit all the pictures from midsummer's eve.

But now I have a new mouse and I can finally blog!

Quality time together with my friends, even though it was chilly evening and I had work next day at 11am. So we got home as early as 2am.

I was totally dead after 8hrs working, so my bf left to party with his friends, and I decided to stay at home alone. I was really upset! Normally I wouldn't mind that.

A plenty of pictures from the evening! Haha I was so cheerful in my baby pink hoodie. I also did my toenails pink + glitter. 

There were a lot of people at the beach. I suddenly snapped a romantic picture, that couple looks so cute!

My gang! My bf looks so dumb in this. Don't mind him, my girlfriends were so pretty!

 A bunch of bimbo teens! Say hello~

My outfit! I was in a girly mood so I dressed up in light pink, white and Juicy Couture. The dress has so plunging neckline so I wore a bikini top. A normal bra would have been too visible, yuck. 

 I took a rather dangerous shot. Never open car's skylight for me! 

The pic is blurry and noisy so no coolness points are even achieved.

The first cut is the deepest

Hair makeover !

This picture is taken after coming out from the hair salon.
The outcome is great and perfectly light for summer. My hair also look much more healthier, I'll try to maintain them as shiny and soft as they are now.

The one and only thing to complain is the straightness. No problem to handle, even I'm really a loser when it comes to different hairdos. I can't do a basic braid, for example!

After the cut it was time to start dyeing my hair:

 The products I used. Bleach and copper blonde for hair tone.

Fugly bleached hair. I wouldn't mind going blonde someday, though. It would be an interesting experience.

Pictured my bf's answer sheet for some Angry Birds competition. I hope there was no age-limit haha!

Blue bird for the win! Sad there is no pink one. Well I'm gonna desing it!

Back to the main point, here's the result! I'm totally satisfied, the color is so vivid and shiney.

Summerburn

Summer is unbelievable time! I just feel so happy and grateful toward everybody and everything.

Even the fact that I have to go to work at midsummer's eve doesn't bother me. My own fault, that's all!

Reflection picture pt. 12787.  So artistic huh?

Been eating like mad. The fruitcake was too tempting so I couldn't hold back! Expensive but yummy!

Then the "fake" Ben&Jerrys. The taste has no differences so wouldn't you buy, if you see B&J in -50% discount?

Next time I try Strawberry Cheesecake. That Cookie Dough-thingy was too sweet and creamy so I don't even want to think about it. I would give this 2.5 out of 5. The dough-bits were big clumps and it was dumb to dig them.

Ok end of the review! :D

This simple outfit would get 4/5. I dressed up like a fine lady, because we had serious business to handle. Hahah.

My skin has always been darker than the average, or that is just what I have been thinking.

But I love getting even more tanned! Everytime I have encountered a cocoa-brown woman I been thinking "what's the point?" but now I fully understand.

Okay no big difference will happen but it doesn't matter. I let the sun do the rest!

A Room Tour

I was really looking foward to make this post and finally it's here. Thank you Blogger, my room has never been as tidy as it's now.

At the moment, I actually have 3 places where I live. It's shit because I have to drag my stuff from one place to another. But now I'm kinda used to it already.

This monument somehow reminds me of Leonard Cohen. Dunno why.

Opiskelustressiä

Aion seuraavan postauksen kirjottaa suomeksi, sillä oli englanniksi rustaaminen miten paljon tahansa helpompaa ja inspiroivampaa, pitää joskus päästä kunnolla myös avautumaan täällä blogin puolella. Ei mitään vakavempaa kuitenkaan.


Varautukaa tähän myös jatkossa. :)

Jep, kuten on käynyt ilmi aikaisemmin, mulla on kauhea stressi -haluan opiskelupaikan, en sen enempää tai vähempää. Siitä koulusta, johon olen hakenut jo kahteen otteeseen ja eiköhän se kohta jo kolmanelle kierrokselle mene. Yhdestä Helsingin opistosta mä sain jo paikan, mutta niin vähään mä en taisteluitta tyydy.

Taistelua viime kuukausi onkin ollut niin henkisesti kuin fyysisestikin.

Pääsykokeet olivat no... haastavat. Jos sietää stressiä, ja pystyy sen parituntisen jälkeen olemaan kevyesti ”elämä jatkuu”-asenteella, niin kumarran siihen suuntaan. ”Mulle ne nelipäiväiset kokeet olivat kuin kesäleiri” - näin sinisilmäsesti yksi esittelijä kehtasi lukiossa väittää. Haistappa vittu, mä jopa aluksi uskoin tohon. Pieni pettymys jälkeenpäin.

Muutama päivä takaperin poikaystäväni heitti, että en mä ole kuitenkaan hakemassa mihinkään lääkikseen. Riemuvoitto!

Hetken helpotti, mutta sitten tulikin se hetki mietteliäisyyteen. Olisi varmaan ollut kannattavampaa hakea lääkikseen, saisi enemmän ymmärrystä, miksi ei tärppää, vaikka teen aina perfektionistisen minäni mukaan parhaani. 

Nyt tää kuvio on mennyt niin sekaisin, että en itsekään pysy kyydissä. Kaiken piti sujua jo viime vuonna niin hyvin, mutta koko vuosi menikin mekaanisesti kaupan kassalla.

Mutta mä en ole tullut näin kauas antaakseni periksi.

”Olen käytännön ihminen”,”teen mielummin työni käsilläni” -nämä sanonnat voisi jo heittää helvettiin ihmisten mielipiteitä kiusaamasta. Jokainen tarvitsee sitä henkistä pääomaa. Lähdetään juuritasolta ja edetään ylemmäs, siihen tiedonhaluisuuteen, mihin koulutus antaa lopulta vain kiitoradan.

En välitä lainkaan niistä ihmisistä, jotka vain löysäilee joka tilanteen läpi väliinpitämättömästi. Kaikkien pitäisi pyrkiä kehittämään itseään, oikeasti. Oppi ei ojaan kaada, niin urpolta kuin se kuulostaakin.

Lukiota en arvostanut paskaakaan, ennen kuin tähän tultiin. Aina pitää oppia kantapään kautta, monotonisesta työstä ja tasaisesta valitusvirrasta.

Lukio oli hienoa aikaa, näin jälkiviisaana kaihoten. Välillä pieniä onnistumisia, välillä surkua ja itsesäälissä rypemistä. Miten oudolta tämän myöntäminen tuntuukaan. Lukiossa mä olin parhaimmillaankin vain keskinkertainen, en ymmärrä. Kilpailu ja kateus, jatkuva omien suoritusten vertailu, missä meni vikaan?

Nyt olisi ihan hienoa astua samalle tielle uudestaan. Haluan tehdä valintoja, päätöksiä, jotta voin kehittyä. Nyt ei ole aika tehdä kaikkea aina saman kaavan mukaan, toisten määräysten mukaisesti -yhteistyö on eri asia.
